Hi:

We finally did it!!! Sue & I found Mapsurfer's Gang of 8!

These are the boxes we have found the past few days:

Mapsurfer's Gang of 8, 08/01/03

The Fox Place, Middlebury, CT 08/02/03
Middlebury Greenway, Middlebury, CT 08/02/03
Mattatuck State Forest #13, Watertown, CT 08/02/03
Foothills BMX, Torrington, CT 08/02/03
People's Forest #8, Barkhamsted, CT 08/02/03
Farmington Valley Greenway South, Avon, CT

All of the boxes were in good shape.

Looking forward to seeing a good turnout at the Maine Event gathering
this coming weekend in Brunswick, ME. See you all there!

Boxing Report

From: Cheryl (teammaddawg@yahoo.com) | Date: 2005-02-08 23:18:16 UTC

This past weekend we went to say goodbye to our Devil Dawg who is
leaving on his second Iraq deployment next week. Of course, this
means we went boxing on a beautiful Carolina Sunday.

We found:

Pine 4 You - Wilmington, NC, by kilroy. All 4 boxes doing great.
Devil Dawg's girlfriend's first found boxes. She's hooked of course!

Blockade Runner - Wilmington, NC, by Amanda from Seattle. Great
stamp! We saw beautiful blue herons by the lake.

Welcome to South Carolina - Little River, SC, by Green Tortuga.
Carving so precise it looks for all the world store-bought.

Wayward Viking - Little River, SC, by noydb. What a wild place, and
a very clever placement!

Thank you all for your artistry and for taking us to such great
places. It made a difficult weekend (for Mom) much easier.

Cheryl,
Please pass along our thanks to your Devil Dawg for his service.

I will sure to do that. Ryan loves his life as a Marine, and I'm
obviously very proud. But I'll miss him because he can ferret out a
box ANYWHERE. He gets all the credit for a lot of our finds. Can't
wait until he's back home.

Big hugs to you, Cheryl and your family. My brother is a Marine based
out of Camp LeJeune in NC and currently in Fallujah, Iraq -- scary
times.

Hi jude,
Please tell your brother that there are many folks thinking about
him and the service he does.
